Wash day - Deep conditioning
Deep conditioning is the stage in which you coat and treat your hair with nourishing products that will restore yours hair's moisture, strengthen it and reduce any damage that could have been caused by your shampoo.
I personally love this stage because I can do other things I need to get done while I deep condition and I absolutely love how my hair feels afterwards.
How to? Apply your deep conditioner to your hair in sections so that all your hair strands can get some of that tlc, after applying the deep conditioner just cover your hair with a shower cap or a plastic bag and let it marinate for 30-60 minutes (if you use heat to deep condition then you can use less time) then afterwards detangle your hair and rinse the deep conditioner out with cold water so that you can retain that moisture from the deep conditioner in your hair.
There are so many deep conditioners that naturals use and diy deep conditioners are getting more and more popular. I personally use a store bought deep conditioner because I am lowkey too lazy to do diys, but I will provide a link to a website that has many diys you can try out.
PS: If you do not have a deep conditioner, just use a regular conditioner, it will do the job.
