Wash day - Styling
This is the part where you want to be patient with yourself, get a movie or a series playing if you hadn't already and get down to styling your hair.
Do a style you feel like having for at least a week. It may be bantu knots, a twist or braid out, a wash and go, flat twists, cornrows, or even braids. Just let it be something you feel like rocking for the next week or so, that way you can keep your hands out of your hair ( I am so guilty of this) and give it some space to grow.
Don't forget to take care of your hair even when it is in the protective style of your choice. I feel like protective styling is a very wide topic that I will never be able to do justice for in just one article, so stay tuned for a new article series just dedicated to protective styling.
PS: Don't put too much tension on your scalp when you style :)
